DESCRIPTION:The 19th SESAME Users' Meeting will take place at SESAME\, All
 an (Jordan)\, from 13 to 15 September 2026.\nThe Users' Meeting will bring
  together users\, beamline scientists\, facility staff and international e
 xperts to present the latest scientific results obtained at SESAME and to 
 discuss future opportunities for research and collaboration.\nThe meeting 
 will provide updates on the scientific and strategic development of the fa
 cility\, including recent advances at the SESAME beamlines\, new user capa
 bilities\, international collaborations and future initiatives.\nThe progr
 amme will feature invited keynote lectures\, strategic updates\, beamline 
 developments\, presentations by SESAME users covering a broad range of dis
 ciplines - including materials science\, chemistry\, life sciences\, archa
 eology and cultural heritage - and discussions on future scientific opport
 unities. It will also include sessions on data analysis and management\, c
 ybersecurity\, proposal writing\, research funding\, scientific publishing
 \, and career development\, together with a visit to the facility.\nThe me
 eting offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaborations within 
 the SESAME community\, establish new partnerships with leading internation
 al research institutions\, and shape the future scientific programme of th
 e facility.\nParticipants will also have the opportunity to present a scie
 ntific poster. During registration\, those wishing to do so may indicate t
 heir interest and provide the research field of their contribution\, allow
 ing the programme committee to organise the poster session accordingly.\nW
 e look forward to welcoming you to SESAME in September 2026.\nSESAME makes
  available a limited number of grants for participation in the 19th Users
