DESCRIPTION:The 19th SESAME Users' Meeting will take place at SESAME\, All
 an (Jordan)\, from 13 to 15 September 2026\, and members of the wider SESA
 ME user community are invited to participate online – the available cap
 acity for in-person participation has already been reached. \nThe Users' M
 eeting will bring together users\, beamline scientists\, facility staff an
 d international experts to present the latest scientific results obtained 
 at SESAME and to discuss future opportunities for research and collaborati
 on.\nThe meeting will provide updates on the scientific and strategic deve
 lopment of the facility\, including recent advances at the SESAME beamline
 s\, new user capabilities\, international collaborations and future initia
 tives.\nThe programme will feature invited keynote lectures\, strategic up
 dates\, beamline developments\, presentations by SESAME users covering a b
 road range of disciplines – including materials science\, chemistry\, li
 fe sciences\, archaeology and cultural heritage – and discussions on fut
 ure scientific opportunities. It will also include sessions on data analys
 is and management\, cybersecurity\, proposal writing\, research funding\, 
 scientific publishing and career development.\nThe meeting will offer an e
 xcellent opportunity to strengthen collaborations within the SESAME commun
 ity\, establish new partnerships with leading international research insti
 tutions\, and contribute to shaping the future scientific programme of the
  facility.\nRegistration and online participation\nFollowing the reschedul
 ing of the 19th Users' Meeting\, registrations and invitations already con
 firmed for the previously announced dates have been carried forward. As a 
 result\, the available capacity for in-person participation has now been r
 eached and registration for attendance at SESAME is closed.\nTo allow the 
 wider SESAME community to take part in the meeting\, registration is now o
 pen for online participation.\nUsers registering for online attendance wil
 l be able to follow the scientific programme remotely. Connection details 
 will be sent to registered participants before the meeting.\nOnline regist
 ration will remain open until 12 September at 5pm Jordan time.\nPresent an
 d future SESAME users not participating in the meeting in person are encou
 raged to join the meeting online and so take advantage of this opportunity
  to follow the scientific programme and developments at the Facility. \nFo
