Participants must meet the following prerequisites before attending the session in order to fully participate in the hands-on exercises.
1️⃣ Required Software: VMware Player
VMware Workstation Player must be installed before you can use the virtual environment in the workshop.
2️⃣ Laptop Requirements
Participants should have access to their own laptops. We highly recommend that the laptops meet the following specifications:
- Processor: Intel Core i5.
- RAM: 8GB.
- Storage: At least 512GB SSD.
- Capable of running two simultaneous virtual machines.
3️⃣ Pre-Configured Virtual Machine
To ensure a smooth experience, we set up a fully functional Linux virtual machine with all the requirements.
🔹 Download the client VM and the server VM. (TBA)
🔹 Before the workshop begins, import the downloaded VM into VMware Player. You can use this version for personal use.
🔹 Install putty or mobaxterm on your PC .
