18th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating conference

Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to announce that registration and abstract submission for the 18th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating Conference (LED2026) are now open!

The conference will be hosted by SESAME (Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East) and will take place at the Landmark Amman Hotel, Amman, Jordan, from 6–10 September 2026.

Sign-up, abstract submission and registration will all take place via the web site.

Papers presented at the conference (Oral and Posters) will be eligible for submission to one of the special issues of either Radiation Measurements or Quaternary Geochronology.

🔹 How to Prepare Your Abstract
For the abstract submission, use the template attached to this email, or download it from the website.

• In the header of the template, Insert the name of the presenting abstract.

• In the header of the template, insert the theme and form of your presentation.

• Use the following abbreviations for the themes in the header.

• The abstract should not exceed one page, including the title, authors and affiliation.

• You can only submit one abstract as a First Author

Please visit the official LED2026 website for detailed information, submission guidelines, and online registration.

Go to Registration in the left side and fill in your information.

You will receive an email confirming your registration and allow you to modify it later, like uploading your abstract, by using the link Manage my registration.

Your registration will not be finalized until you check out and pay the registration fees.

The registration fees were made as low as possible for all participants. It includes the mid-conference dinner for all. See below the table for the registration fees.

 🔹 Post Conference Trip

The post-conference trip will be for limited number (~70). It will start at 14:00 on the 10th of September, and end at 21:00 on the 12th of September. The visit will be to Petra and Wadi Rum. The price includes transport, hotel and two dinners. Further details will be announced later.
