18^th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating conference

Amman, 6^th - 10^th September 2026

We are pleased to announce that the 18^th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating Conference (LED2026) will be hosted by SESAME (Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East) in Amman, Jordan, from 6^th to 10^th September 2026.

The 18^th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating Conference (LED2026) will mark a historic milestone as the first in the series to be held in Jordan. Hosted by SESAME, Jordan, this edition opens a new chapter in expanding the global reach and inclusivity of the LED community.

We aim to foster a meaningful academic exchange, and bring together students, early-career scholars, and experienced researchers from around the world.

As in previous years, LED2026 will provide a platform for researchers to share developments in the fundamental science of luminescence and ESR, explore new methodologies and instrumentation, and present applications across archaeological, geomorphological, and dosimetric fields.

Finally, a post-conference field trip is planned for 11^th–13^th September 2026, with limited participation available.
