Pre-Hackathon Training
Online Q&A sessions and self-paced training material
Before the Quantum Hackathon - SESAME 2026, a pre-hackathon training programme will be provided by the Open Quantum Institute (OQI) as part of its Hackathon in a Box approach.
The training is designed to help prospective hackathon participants develop the basic knowledge and skills needed to participate effectively in the event.
Who Can Participate?
The pre-hackathon training is intended for university students in STEM fields who are interested in participating in the Quantum Hackathon - SESAME 2026.
There is no competitive selection process for the pre-hackathon training. However, registrations will be lightly screened to ensure that participants are within the target group and have an appropriate academic background for the programme.
Participation in the pre-hackathon training is strongly recommended for hackathon applicants, but it is not mandatory for final selection to the hackathon. Completing the training also does not guarantee selection for the in-person hackathon.
