Eligibility and Application Process:

The call for WEF-Foundation Grants is open to scientists who are affiliated with institutions in one of the Members of SESAME, the synchrotron radiation facility in the Middle East. To participate, interested researchers are invited to submit an abstract of their research. Successful candidates will be granted the opportunity to present their work at the DPG Spring Meetings in person.

  • Grant Coverage: the WEH-Foundation will provide financial support for selected candidates, covering travel expenses and registration fees for the DPG Spring Meetings.
  • Presentation Slot: normally, successful candidates are expected to showcase their research during the event in a 12-minute presentation slot
  • Deadline for Applications: The deadline for submitting your abstract and application is December 16, 23:59 Jordan time.
